ok, I tried to read the related post (Hamlet, a critic of burning resentment) but I’m not smart enough to understand it, so I guess I’ll just lower the tone and ask if anyone has tried playing this -http://versificator.co.uk/hamlet/
    Tis funny…

But anyway, what did everyone think of Hamlet? I studied it at school a few years ago and expected to hate it, but I actually really enjoyed it! It’s so much better reading it for fun than reading it in a classroom. I’ve always thought Ophelia should get more stage time, her story sort of goes in the background.

Ooh, and does anyone know any good film adaptations? I watched one once and it was really good, but I have no idea what version it was.

The related posts are a wordpress thing – we don’t choose them, the software does.

By the way, love the versificator link.

I happen to like the Branagh Hamlet (it’s long, nothing is cut. But it has some excellent performances mixed in with some of Branagh’s creative casting performances as well.) I also like the Hamlet with Mel Gibson (yes, he’s a crazy, bigoted, racist jerk. But he does a decent job of acting with decent material).

    Finally finished.

“Words, words, words” there are a whole lot of them.
